Window Issues Part 2: How We Fix Them

In our previous blog, we pointed out the different issues you will encounter regarding your windows. Some are function-related while others are about its design. At Renewal by Andersen® of Central Florida, we will now look at how we can assist you in making these issues go away. As a specialist in replacement windows, we bring top-quality services and equally superior materials to resolve your window woes.

Window Issues

Here are some of them.

Durability

The biggest issue in terms of durability is the material of the frame and the sash of the window. We are aware of the different levels of effectiveness of frames used in the industry, so our parent company, Andersen Corporation, pioneered Fibrex®. It’s a composite material created from wood fibers and PVC polymer. This composite is three-times more durable than wood, doesn’t decay and is guaranteed not to chip, break, rust or corrode. Its sturdy nature allows it to be resistant to the elements, from blistering heat to intense rain.

We also use our High-Performance™ Low-E4® SmartSun™ glass, far sturdier than any normal window panes in the market. With its metallic oxide coatings, it’s the best insulating glass on the market, deflecting 95% of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation while allowing visible light to pass through. It’s available for all our window options, including casement or double-hung window.

Energy Efficiency

Built to have high UV protection and with low solar heat gain coefficient, our Low-E4 glass is ideal for hot summer days, admitting a profusion of sunlight without its attendant heat. It  perfect for living room and bedroom windows. During the cold season, however, our glasses are also equipped with a high degree of U-Factor and optional HeatLock™ Technology, which traps indoor heat for a cozier, warmer atmosphere.

Aesthetic

We offer a large variety of colors and designs to match your house’s theme. Our grille installation services will also add a layer of sophistication to your home. If you are in need of more specialized windows, we also do custom window installations provided your window opening can accommodate the windows you have in mind.

If you have other questions, you can call us at (407) 512-5504. We provide our services in Maitland, FL and the surrounding areas.
